Having undergone a bad renovation in the ‘80s, this residence was in dire need of a loving restoration. By re-introducing baseboards and crown mouldings, herringbone wood flooring, arches, and a stone mantelpiece we began to see the shape of her former glory. Softly textured walls, deeply comfortable seating, glowy lighting and a few select rich materials give an overall feeling of quiet warmth. The addition of a powder room, wrapped in DeGournay’s ‘Coral Reef’ on the living level adds functionality, beauty, and delight for this scuba - loving couple.
